I am starting a massage and wellness spa. I will be offering massage therapy to begin. As the spa grows, I would like add other services including yoga, red light therapy, facials, esthetician services, and other options. I am a licensed massage therapist and I have other therapists that are interested in joining my team.
My first obstacle is to rent the facility that I will be using. I have the building selected that is already set up for our services. Next, I will need to hire more massage therapists to ensure that we will be fully staffed. I have several fully licensed therapists selected. Massage therapy is a very competitive market and I would like to pay a competitive wage.
With investor funding, I will be able to secure the lease and offer sign on bonuses to perspective employees. I believe that well compensated employees are happier and work better. I want this business to make life better for myself, my employees, and for our clients.
Of course, there are other massage therapy facilities in the surrounding areas but I would like to stand out above the others. I want to offer professional staff, clean and well lit facilities, and reasonable rates.
Once the spa is fully staffed, we will can begin making a profit within the first 2-3 months if not sooner. As we grow the services we offer will also grow giving us further opportunities for financial expansion.
I believe that a twenty five thousand dollar investment will get this spa moving in the right direction for success.
