Decent Bagel was conceived as a New York style bagel shop in the tourist mountain town of Nederland, Colorado. Conceived by Carl and Audrey, Decent came about to provide the town of Nederland with a savory breakfast spot with food made with love. Highlights include our in house made sausage egg and cheese, our Secret Garden, our Jimmy Pesto, and our Lucious Lox. A success from day one, Decent now cannot keep the front range in enough of their hand made with love bagels and breakfast sandwiches. As the firm took off,  a second location was added to Decent Market Group down the block in Nederland. Sweet Sue's Modern Mercantile is a smoothie, and savory snack /salad restaurant with half of it's square footage dedicated to high end gift wares. In house churned ice cream was added to this location this summer. Sue's is a neighborhood spot hosting monthly open mike night for teen's, and providing a meeting place for remote workers that have relocated up from Boulder and Denver. Plans also include an espresso bar this fall. 

Decent Market also caters many events almost every weekend out of Sue's and are looking to expand and refine that business to include weddings in Boulder proper with a master lease on a premier location on Pearl Street. Plans are in the works for delivery of warm fresh bagels on weekends, among other initiatives.  

Sue's and Decent service the thousands of tourists that traverse the Peak to Peak highway between Estes Park and the casinos in Black Hawk nine months a year. We have also built a substantial following in Boulder and Denver due to word of mouth and good press.

Our business model has proven to be exactly what we envisioned when we opened over two years ago. We serve comfort food lovingly with a local and savory flair. We serve our local and visiting clients with a menu of gifts and attention to detail that rivals the best shops anywhere in the country. Audrey has curated and nurtured a following on social media that keeps asking us for more initiatives.

 With over ten years each serving a high end clientele from server to bartender to management, both Carl and Audrey have defined the cool chic of this mountain town of Nederland, which is continuing to serve the needs of the Boulder tech community. 

An equity infusion will allow us to continue to meet the growing needs of our community while providing a steady stream of growth for our equity partner(s). Our metrics are such that we are over the 'two year hump', and we have gained in efficiency and management skill. Any serious investor will be able to extrapolate our value in the next five years.
