I recently invented a NEW method of Glazing Clay & wish to patent the technique along with creating ways to manufacture or mass produce. A Patent cost $16,000 & would need several thousand for supplies, tools, equipment. I am an active artist and educator with a Masters Degree in Art Education from Kent State University with minors in Education and Studio Arts. I am in contact with Mayco Ceramics as their Stroke and Coat glaze is ideal for this method of application. I have meticulously searched all 198 methods presented by Mayco as well as the internet as a whole & I can not find ANYONE doing this. I have also been in contact with an intellectual property/patent lawyer who believes this is a patentable method.
