Cutting Edge Animation is a Black-owned independent animation studio producing original IP at the intersection of prestige storytelling and mental health advocacy. Our flagship property, Captain Zero, is a Tribeca Festival-selected, NAACP Image Award-nominated animated franchise with an attached cast including Whoopi Goldberg and Keith David, now in development as a feature film. Cutting Edge Animation produces original animated content — short films, feature films, and episodic series — distributed across streaming platforms (currently on AMC+) and exhibited at major film festivals and fan conventions worldwide. The company also develops franchise IP with licensing, merchandising, and media tie-in potential across video games, apparel, and consumer products.
