Thank you for the opportunity to apply for a business grant, I am very excited to finally open up my own studio! I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about my start-up!

Cult Creative Studios (the studio's name) is not your average production studio... We are a studio that is dedicated to supporting & educating visionaries of all ages through their creative endeavors in an ever-changing, fast-paced world. This studio is imagined by Maya Renee Berkompas, a 19 year old Orange County Actor, Stylist, and Content Creator who has been involved in the SoCal creative scene for 12+ years. Maya found that there was a severe lack of multi-purpose spaces for this fast-growing community of content creators and creatives to come together and actually CREATE. She felt very alone as a new content creator and she didn't have a team to help her and navigate her path for a very long time. With a lot of trial and error, numerous mistakes made, and a lot of hours put in she finally found her path to success and her team that helped her get there, she felt compelled to do so for others. This is where the idea for Cult Creative Studios began. We are so excited to open our first ever location.

Maya Renee Berkompas:

Young Female Entrepreneur

Maya Renee Berkompas is a 19 year old actor, stylist, content creator and founder of Cult Creative Studios. With over 15k followers on her social media platforms she has gained experience producing content. Maya has created multiple platforms that many fans come to when seeking style inspiration, travel tips, or just pure entertainment since starting her professional content creation journey in 2021. Maya has partnered with hundreds of brands for the past 2+ years including Nordstrom, Valentino, & Revolve. Maya operates with an in-house team and her agents from JOUA Agency. Maya has been performing since she was 7 on competition dance and theatrical teams. She loves to dream big and actually find a way to make those dreams happen! She has always been very business oriented this way and has always been such an "idea person." Maya graduated with honors in high school with a near perfect GPA. Maya always took up any chance to be involved, for example, she was on her high school's dance team, student body, actor's repertory class, in addition to performing in and designing for her school's productions. She then graduated and made her way into Syracuse University, a top 10 theatre school for acting. She finished out her first year rounding out 45 college credits when she decided that she wanted to do so much more than just being an actress. She always found a way to nurture all of her interests, so "why not now?" she asked herself. Which brings us to the present day, she is now living the life of her dreams as an actor, stylist, and a content creator and all she wants to do is provide that life for others through this studio. She feels it is her purpose. People flock to her bubbly, positive, and gracious personality which has made her a great student, mentor, and creator. She has a lot of supporters and would love your support too!

Cult Creative Studios is not your average hourly self-led studio space available on Peer Space. We are an all-in-one multi-purpose, trendy, and growing space creatives to collaborate, create, and form a community in an otherwise online industry. We want to help young visionaries bring their dreams to life and level up their skills. With the connections that Maya has, we already have powerful & well-known entrepreneurs lined up to be teaching artists at our studio. Digital Marketing has quickly become the fastest growing and highest paying job of the year so we know that we have a huge market. With all of the organizations that Maya has been a part of, she has networks of hundreds and thousands of students to bring into the Cult Creative Studios world. With your help, we will have different rooms in our studio with cataloged and customizable spaces for vertical and landscaped filming. We will have sound studios for recording podcasts and music, and a rentable styling suite. With a professional in-house team, including free-lance photographers, videographers, and makeup artists, we are dedicated to creating professional and high-quality productions for our customers' visions. There is truly no other studio that provides this much to its clientele, especially at these rates, and we know that we will be in high demand in our community. We have many different services and courses in the works, in-person and online.

Here’s where you come in:

With your help, we will have different “rooms” (sets)  in our studio with cataloged and customizable spaces for vertical and landscaped filming. We will have a sound studio for recording podcasts and music, a UGC center for filming high quality user-generated content, and a rentable styling suite. With a professional in-house team, including free-lance photographers, videographers, and makeup artists, we are dedicated to creating professional and high-quality productions for our customers' visions. There is truly no other studio that provides this much to its clientele, especially at these rates. After hours, we will host events and Mixers with our community to gain extra profit and make the most out of our space. There is so much that we can do with our confidence in this space. The idea is that not everybody has an “aesthetic enough” filming space in their homes, as many contact creators and public figures know, creating congruency builds your community. This makes sure that our studio is not just a one time use rentable space. Creators will have to come back in order to make sure that their content make sense because they now have their own sets. Coming to our studio means that you become part of the community. Our team is here to help anyone who needs it. Athletes with NIL, Real Estate Agents with House Photography, Actors with Self Tapes, Stores with Product Photography (all for example). We are not just for the aesthetic bunch of influencers. While researching, there was a 97% increase in searches on Yelp for YouTube filming spaces, video editing, audition tape sets, and podcast production. All of which our team is equipped to successfully carry out.

With hundreds of ideas, we would love your help with funding. We are creating a path for many more studios like ours to come! We have many different services and courses in the works, in-person and online, so as to not limit our audience. This money will help us with not only getting the best quality set-up, but also with the time that it will take for our community to fully understand what our business is about and how we can truly help everybody with entertaining their ideas.
