Cosmic Kitchen Co was founded in 2021 and is the umbrella company that owns Comfort Catering and Mystic Brews Cafe which operate out of the same physical location. I'm hoping to use the $50k to help with both businesses.
Comfort Catering has been operating since 2021, serving local institutions and facilities three meals a day seven days a week. Our average monthly sales are between $30k and $60k. One of our biggest obstacles has been deliveries, as our clients are often in different directions. We are about to launch a new website that will open our business to the general public for event catering. I'd like to purchase a used delivery vehicle for $20k or less to eliminate any disruptions in service.
Our kitchen needs some general maintenance work. We need our hood cleaned, fire maintenance, some plumbing and electrical work. Each of these jobs average around $1000-$2000.
The space I have been renting and utilizing for the catering has a store front which I am hoping to transform into a coffee/tea shop or cafe. We will be serving pastries, trendy and fun coffees, as well as your traditional cups, herbal teas, boba teas, and proprietary holistic blends. We would like to keep expanding our menu to include light food fare, smoothies, wellness shots, and anything our customers heart's desire. We will need coffee equipment, supplies, merchandising equipment, an integrated POS system, and more general maintenance work to ensure we are up to code and can pass inspections before we can open our doors.
Any remaining funds would be cycled back into the business to help with cash flow and marketing.
