Corpsman's

Raising 150K to move our products to manufacturing as well as grow and expand our business. (Veteran Owned & Operated)

Thank you for taking the time to read this proposal,

Corpsman's is a Veteran owned and operated men's grooming product company out of Boston, MA. We currently feature 7 hair products, a full beard care line as well as face and body products for a total of 30 SKUs. We started the business in December 2018 and started sales in 2020 after a year of brand and product development. Covid created some difficulties but we survived and grew to 100 wholesale clients nationwide as well as overseas distribution in Poland who have purchased 28K in wholesale to date. We have made significant investments in our website, google ads, as well as efficient post consumer email flows through our website development team and our marketing partners.

The next project is to move our products to manufacturing. We have been making our hair products by hand and the process is getting to be time consuming as we grow and doesn't allow the company time to foster our current clients as well as pursue new clients, which has created a bit of a plateau in our wholesale sales. We have seen significant growth in the retail DTC side of our company due to the investment in google ads and post consumer email flows but as we see a plateau in wholesale revenue, keeping our inventory stocked has been challenging which will in turn start to effect our retail sales as well.

We are seeking 150K to move our operations to manufacturing with a proven manufacturer in TX,  Lockhart's Customs.  We have a great relationship with this manufacturer and the manufacturing quote they have provided for services is favorable. Lockhart's Customs will not only manufacture our current full product line, they will also hold our inventory as well as fulfill all our wholesale and retail orders.  We will also begin to work closely with Lockhart's Customs to develop new products for Corpsman's, ensuring we acquire a spot in the forefront of the men's grooming product industry and stay there. Funds will also be used to develop a wholesale ordering portal for our wholesale clients. This way, these clients can place all orders through the website as well as have access to prior invoices. The wholesale portal will also allow current wholesale clients to be awarded points for purchases that they can then use for Corpsman's branded merchandise or credits towards future wholesale purchases. This will allow Corpsman's to remove itself from it's current manufacturing space lease. This will allow more cash flow, help us become a much more mobile and sales development driven company as well as allow us to spend more time with Veteran and First Responder community driven events. Giving back to these communities is very important to us.

We currently have pledged 5% of gross profits to help wounded Veterans and first responders by remaining active with The Heroes Project . We have a close relationship with the foundation's owner Tim Medvets and it allows us to have a mission and a purpose that is extremely important to us as well as one that consumers can get behind. Last November we traveled out to CA to climb Mt. Baldy with the wounded Veterans and to help raise money for their foundation. You can see a lot of our current community activity on our company's Instagram.  ( @the_corpsmans_apothecary  ) Including being recognized by the Boston Celtics as the Veteran Owned Business of The Game as well as Last November's "Hair Cuts For Heroes" where we partnered with one of our clients Boston Barber and Tattoo and we bought haircuts for Veterans and Fist Responders and donated hair products to them as well. It was a great success.
