I have 17 years experience in the field, have created two start ups for partners in Alaska and am wanting to create one in Austin, Texas. I have seen a need for a different business model in Austin as it relates to pre-owned vehicles, particularly as it relates to a new and different buying population. My solution has been in the last several years to incorporate new and better technology, streamlined buying/financing process, and I look to source my vehicles from out of state so as to focus on mid to upper trims and lower miles than the bulk of the independent competition. I look to incorporate a higher than industry standard for compensation so as to attract and maintain a higher level of sales and finance talent.
