BUSINESS
A college friend and I started this company about 16 months ago after deciding to go out on our own. Collectively we have 23 years of experience in this industry. We started with just our experience, connections and know how. From that we have built our business out to include a fully staffed office downtown in our city square, and have 8 fulltime staff between office support and sales managers. We have a growing book of business that includes large remodels, new builds, with a focus to expand on commercial projects. We have brought in a long time contact that has 26 years' experience in the commercial sector and with him we have absorbed his field labor crew and equipment. 2025 has big opportunity for us if we can prepare properly.
MARKET
We are located just North of Dallas in Sherman TX, and service the entire North Texas area. The city council believes the population could double over the next decade. Sherman is seeing a wave of new businesses, including: Texas Instruments, The tech giant is building a new $30 billion fabrication campus in Sherman, which could create over 3,000 jobs. Sherman is also seeing new projects, including: 3,745 new houses units under construction in Sherman, which include1,500 multifamily rental units. A $6 billion project is underway at Lake Texoma, which will include a Margaretville Resort, 7,500 new homes and apartments, and a marina. Construction on the Hard Rock Hotel at Lake Texoma is scheduled to start and is a $4 billion project.
PROGRESS
From 0 to current we have contracted over 50 jobs in about 16 months. In a short period we have progressed from home remodels, to new construction, to now focusing on commercial work. We have about a dozen new builds and commercial projects contracted/booked going into 2025, and as many in progress working to close by EOY. We project to do anywhere between $10M-$40M in business, pending closing some large contracts. And we get new opportunities daily. It took us most of our first year to build out our processes, team, operating system, branding, and networking. The foundation of the business is fully established.
FUTURE
We want to stabilize our new build division, which would include adding to the team and assigning/hiring a division manager. We want to become very specific on what remodeling work we take on in the future. And focus more and more on the commercial projects while also putting ourselves in position to do our own development deals. Within the next 2-3 years we want to be managing our own development projects either in house or with partnerships.
POSITIVE POINTS
Have the current experience and capacity to execute large projects. We have streamlined processes from point A-Z. We have a committed team that puts in as much time as required every day. We have all of the resources and connections in the area to be successful. We have our own sourced architects, engineers, designers to work with our office.
INVESTORS/PARTNERS
The one thing we didn't plan on and aren't great at, is the financing and accounting part of business. Things took off and we did everything on cash basis with no credit lines, loans, vendor accounts, or financial backers. So now to keep up with the projected growth as well as future targeted goals, we need to find solutions. We are open to any and all options, at least for discussion
