Seeking funding to buy a hobby farm in British Columbia with existing blueberry farm, wedding venue and ongoing filming property to extend into a residential care facility for youth and adults with disabilities.  

This property has additional buildings with a nine bed facility that I wish to utilize and license into a residential care facility for youth and adults  with disabilities transitioning from MCFD into CLBC.  This would be a government funded facility with potential earnings per youth up to $20,000 per month.  The (9) bed facility could house up to (6) youth with two staff on site.   This would fulfill an emergent need for the youth in British Columbia to learn life skills, and get ready for independence safely and securely in an attachment based model.  

The property is on sale for 5.3 million, I have already spoke with the government in terms of criteria needed to secure a loan  under "Farm Loans Canada" so I am seeking an angel investor to help with the start up to secure a down payment, time that is needed for licensing, etc.  The property has a commercial kitchen for wedding venues, etc. . Short-term  goal is to open a bakery using the blueberries and other vegetables and fruit grown on the farm, helping our clients learn the life skills, while serving the community.  

My Profile
I have 15 years experience working with MCFD as a specialized foster parent and work with complex internal anxiety issues, early childhood trauma, treating and working with the effects of mood dysregulation, addictions, & self-destructive behaviour.  I also have a current contract with CLBC and help young adults with disabilities work towards independence.  My specialty is helping youth with developmental disorders/disabilities helping to navigate life and gain self-confidence with a deeper sense of independence.   I am a Master Therapeutic Counsellor and would incorporate a counselling component to our clients which I personally feel is the key to helping this demographic not become statistics.  Approaches to therapy are client-based, incorporating different modalities while supporting both reality and attachment-based models towards self-exploration, feelings, and behaviours in a non-judgmental environment.
