I am a Registered Nurse, currently providing concierge services throughout Houston. I do have consistent clients but I have holding off on major marketing plans until I have a dedicated space, as concierge takes a lot of time driving and decreases the number of clients I can see in a day drastically. Looking to transition into a brick & mortar space. I seek to open a holistic based skincare/wellness studio in an urban area of Houston, TX. Funding is needed to attain studio space, products (peels, neurotoxin, dermal fillers) and necessary supplies/equipment, such as furniture and facial machines. Ultimately I'd like to be close to the East River Development that is underway but, at the moment I am wanting a decent space to build a larger clientele. There are very few "med spas" east of the 59 corridor and I feel like the area is underserved. COMPLXN will be a physical wellness space as well as a social community for all things skincare related. Bringing an elevated skin, health, and well-being experience that is inclusive and accessible. Medical grade skincare products and treatments such as facials, chemical peels, Botox and dermal fillers will be rendered. Once I have completed my Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I would also like to incorporate further dermatology treatments and men's/women's health. Focusing on the person as a whole, we hope to eventually address all concerns from skincare to sexual wellness for all.
My customer base is made up of mostly women 30-50 but I’d also make my space appealing to men to draw a larger number of them. I’d say my mix at the moment is 90% women and 10% men. It’ll just be a one woman show until we outgrow the proposed current space near The Heights or Midtown and need more licensed providers. I do have a medical director on board who is licensed in Texas, she is an anesthesiologist and has experience with the treatment modalities COMPLXN will offer. All we need now…is you!
