My son and I are starting a commercial fishing business unlike any other in the Pacific Northwest. our vision is to create a business that values our crew by leading with honesty, respect and integrity. We feel this coupled with offering an opportunity for health insurance for the crew and their families, which is very rare in this industry, providing  year - round fishing and creating a "family like" culture will help us hire and retain a consistent crew of the "best of the best" fisherman. We believe this approach will lead to a stronger safety environment, less downtime, better production and  increased profits. We want to tap into the 33 to 76 million dollar per year Dungeness crab industry (as measured in Washington state only) followed by the Black cod and the commercial Tuna fisheries. We bought a 70’ X 22’ commercial fishing vessel. We paid cash for the boat. We have since put about 20K into the boat. We are looking for investors to help with equipment rehab. The potential to make 10 % of the profits over and above investment interest exists for the right investor. Approx value of boat after investment is 600k with an approximate gross income of 1.2 million dollars per year.
