Citroniq is building a 100% sustainable polypropylene production facility at full commercial scale in Nebraska, converting corn-based ethanol into carbon-negative plastic pellets. The world-scale plant (600 kta) uses proven technologies arranged in a unique sequence with an expected start-up date of late 2029. Citroniq's OrganiqPPĀ® is 5X carbon-negative, capturing or avoiding 5 tons of CO2 per ton of polypropylene. Citroniq has 50% of the capacity sold on a 15-year market-based contract and actively marketing the remaining capacity on a corn or ethanol based formula price that provides customers a less volatile, hedge able pricing structure. .
