Choices – Transformative & Meaningful Journeys (Choices TMJ) is a startup New York–based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic mobility, stability, and long-term reintegration for justice-involved individuals and economically marginalized community members.   Executive leadership brings more than 60 years of collective experience working with underserved and justice-impacted individuals, grounded in a deep commitment to empowering participants to achieve long-term stability through comprehensive and compassionate support.

Founded to address the intersection of incarceration, employment instability, and housing insecurity, Choices delivers structured workforce development programming grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and dignity-centered approach. Our model integrates transitional planning, career pathway development, and comprehensive case management to ensure participants are equipped not only to secure employment, but to sustain it and build toward long-term economic independence.

Vision
Choices envisions a coordinated ecosystem in which justice-involved individuals transition from incarceration to stable housing, industry-aligned employment, and long-term economic mobility — strengthening families, reducing recidivism, and promoting safer, more equitable communities.
