Founder Story

Check On Me™ was born from lived experience.
 
In a span of 15 months, I lost my God Mom, my Mom, my job, my best friend, my Dad, and then my dog. Suddenly, the people who would normally notice if something was wrong with me were gone. During that season, I told my therapist one of my deepest fears was dying alone and no one finding out for days, weeks, or longer.
 
That fear became even more real when my cousin Kevin passed away, and no one found him for six days.
  
That experience pushed me to take seriously an idea that had been in my head for years. Check On Me™ was created to give people who live alone a simple, respectful, and dependable way to stay connected to someone who would notice when silence matters.
 

Product

Check On Me™ is a mobile app with two roles within the same platform:
 
User Role
Subscribers use the app for daily wellness check-ins and benefit from automated escalation if they become unresponsive.
 
Admin Role
The admin side supports subscription monitoring and alert-log tracking.
 
The product is intentionally designed to be simple and approachable. There are no cameras, no wearables, no in-home devices, and no constant surveillance. Instead, users receive a daily prompt to check in. If they do not respond within the designated window, trusted contacts are alerted automatically.
