We are looking to buy a 5 acre piece of property about an hour outside of Dallas and build 2-3 bedroom cottages. My partner is an experienced builder, framer and carpenter and will be building the cottages. I am an experience real estate agent and we will be renting out the cottages since the real estate market has slowed and the rental market is hot. We have done our research on how much each cottage will cost to build, how many we can put in the property and how much revenue they will bring in. We are in the initial phase of doing a site plan.
