Introduction: We are the First-to-Market Intelligent Dog Grooming Company specializing in Doodles.
Team: Our founder is Vanessa Rushing who brings more than 22 years of Specialized Dog Grooming expertise to the table. Rushing was featured on Animal Planet's Reality TV Show "Groomer Has It" for her excellence in the field, and this experience is currently being leveraged at our pilot location in Jensen Beach Florida. The team is rounded out by a supporting staff of highly skilled dog groomers and prep specialists.
Problem: Disconnect between Dog Groomers and Doodle Owners. Two challenges the grooming industry has faced are both a lack of customer- service focused training and standardized education of the grooming and proper handling of Doodles. This can lead to inconsistent grooming results and potential injury and mental harm to pets. This applies to the groomers as well. For Doodle owners, this inconsistency can be particularly problematic, as improper grooming results in more matted fur, skin issues, and more stressed pets.
Solution: THE VOX !! To support the ongoing education required to bridge this gap, a specialized tool had to be developed for owners and groomers to collaborate around. Enter the VOX. The Certified Doodle Price Vox is the only price design tool that allows the Doodle owner to share their grooming requirements with their groomer, and capture the perfect groom parameters. Competition: Mom and Pop Neighborhood shops. These are plentiful, and all the same. Unchanged practices, random pricing based on breed, less skilled techs, poor working conditions, commission based, lots of turnover. Mobile Dog Grooming; we see this as more of a threat because of the logistics favoring an older clientele. Mobile is always higher priced, and the market is saturated. We consider neither as highly skilled, but Mobile remains a threat.
Traction: The Business is in full swing. The Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting by the Chamber was October 26th. It's been very well received, as supported by a nice long list of excellent Five-Star Google Reviews. We've experienced excellent growth in the short time we've been open.
The Future of the firm? Technology! The incorporation of The Vox is currently leading the technological way in this stale Dog Grooming industry. We have brought to life the use of our proprietary price design application (at our pilot location in Jensen Beach, Fl.) which was developed to take all subjectivity out of the pricing process. Next up is the integration of AI to expand the data library and enhance the user experience with our Vox. Soon you'll see a Kiosk version of the Vox in our lobby that will be the focal point of the Groomer - Client engagement. The Kiosk will then become its own business unit at Certified Doodle, marketable to all Dog Grooming shops nationwide.
Funding Ask: We seek $200,000 to help with expanding equipment requirements, continued Branding and PR campaigns, Social Media and Localized Advertising, Key Hire Wage Support, and The Certified Doodle Price Vox App Development.
Projections for victory. What does winning look like? A steady month over month growth in revenue forcing expansion from the current two grooming stations into a maximum capacity situation where five grooming stations are servicing six clients per day. This scenario offers annual revenues to approach $1M, forcing Certified Doodle to open the second location, with an eye towards multiple locations.
