Cellular Life Sciences is an early-stage life science tools company based outside of Boston, MA. We are developing the first fully integrated adaptable bioprocessing system purpose designed for preclinical drug discovery research with the goal of dramatically reducing the need for animal testing. Increased government pressure to eliminate animal testing for drug and cosmetic development has accelerated industry demand for tools that can model living cells.  Current systems are complex, non-intuitive, and typically designed for one specific use case, limiting uptake within the drug discovery marketplace. Accuracy and cell viability issues limit current construct methods, causing them to fall short of natural tissue predictive models.
After analyzing the white space within this market and completing extensive voice of customer research, Cellular Life Sciences (CLS) determined current 3D drug discovery tools have fallen short as typical development engineers lack understanding of the drug discovery process and workflow.
