The Canadian Veterans Services Society was established in 2018 to address the significant challenges faced by many Veterans and First Responders transitioning back to civilian life, experiencing financial hardship, or living with service-related disabilities. Too often, these brave men and women who have selflessly served our country struggle to meet their most basic needs, including access to nutritious food.
Since our inception, we have helped over 10,000 Veterans/First Responders and distributed over 115,000 lbs of food. To make our Veterans/First Responders more comfortable we offer a Food Bank shopping experience modeled like an everyday grocery store. We also offer help with mental health support, household bills, rent, medical and other bills that our clients are struggling with. The demand for our services continues to grow as we reach more showing need within our community.
