If you are reading after that headline then I suspect you like puppies!

It will be a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility. In 3 years when we are able to expand into the full 15,000 sq ft we will be adding an accredited trade program to train groomers and dog trainers.  It will be a Philadelphia themed facility, daycare based program that is able to be run in a smaller space, with less overhead, and a better experience for pets.  This facility will not discriminate on the basis of reproductive status and we feel strongly that owners should make an educated decision with the assistance of veterinary staff for what is best for their pet.  We are planning a pick up and drop off service to help provide a level of convenience and customer service that our clients expect. We are currently in negotiations for an amazing property and are chomping at the bit to get started!  

I have been grooming in this industry now for 10 years.  I have won a grooming competition at the largest trade show in the world. I hold a level of certification that only 50 people in the state of Pennsylvania hold.  One of my clients won breed at National Dog Show all because of a change in his grooming.  Our only grooming school in the area has closed when there's a severe shortage of groomers in the area.  There was already a national shortage of groomers, let alone well trained groomers prior to Covid.  And with the Covid Puppy Boom, groomers and trainers can not keep up with the demand for services.  Animal care and husbandry has been my passion since I was a small child.  And I'm really excited to spend the next 10-20 watching these puppies grow up in our facility.

This facility would not only help me create a wonderful, safe environment for those puppies to play, it will also help us provide opportunities for education and real world job skills in a field that provides a living wage.  Somebody gave me the gift of grooming when they took the time to train me.  It's time to pay it forward.  And it's time to create the facility that I can finally say yes, after being behind the doors, I would feel comfortable leaving my dog here.

We are hoping to raise capital for a rapid buildout in order to capitalize on multiple factors that will drive demand even higher in the area that we are targeting, as well as a nominal operational fund to get us to the point were we can open the doors.
