CAD 247 is an industrial design and engineering company.

Our business model is simple; we provide industrial design and engineering services to OEMs, with both direct and indirect contracts.

The reason clients care is simple. Big companies are run by people who are as human as anyone else; their reputation matters, via the products they make. The liability of such is a risk that is from the engineering area. Our services are a liability diversion, which fixes their issues and earns us credibility at the same time.

Most people won’t sell to OEMs, not due to staffing sufficiency like most assume, but due to certain incompatibility, that has been based on hardware; most companies like mine only care about the money, so they will make more money with less clients by turning an engineering firm into a CNC shop.  Since we do just the Engineering portion, via CAD software (and related software tools), we have quite the versatility.

I will provide more details once an investor is interested, but we don’t want an investor who just wants to make a buck; the work is the basis of this, and I will not take investors who do not have a legitimate interest in what we are doing, and a desire to accelerate it.

A investor connections at Boeing, Ford, Daimler, and Apple would be a must; general OEMs would also be of use, such as Bosch, GE, GM, and others.

The only reason we don’t have any competitors is because of the fact that it’s a new industry we invented by accident, and because of the fact that most people panic over the fear factor of such a risk. To me, the solution isn’t fear, it’s simply to fix it.

Regarding personnel, is currently just myself in the company. I plan on hiring four designers and one COO after no more than two years. I’d get this going with my wages, but that will take too long.
