BUSSCOLLAB is a Startup resources networking platform where companies, institutions, and individuals can trade/sell/buy unused or underused construction materials to stay within budget and low construction projects.
My Story
Working on my Doctoral thesis, I collected data reporting inefficiencies related to underused resources and wasted materials on the construction industry.
For the above, I had the idea of an app to transform how the construction industry collaborates to find resources, staying within budget, and reduce the costs of maintaining their inventory.
- The problem: There is a massive gap between available construction resources and access to those resources. Problem 1,

Construction companies need a centralized solution to manage resources effectively.
- The Solution: Solution 1, Marketplace to exchange and sell unused/underutilized resources, monitoring tools, and raw building materials.
Solution 2, Platform to optimize resource use and eliminate waste, reducing costs and increasing productivity. Solution 3, Easy-to-use interface and algorithm to recommend the best resources and real-time inventory tracking and management.
- Target Customer Segment (s): The target segments during the first year are the Remodeling and Residential Construction sectors. Residential construction is booming across Utah, but industry watchers and lawmakers wonder if the housing supply here will ever catch up with demand. Utah is the state with the newest construction being developed, with 11.7 new construction per 1,000 residents on January 16, 2023.

• Digital marketing campaigns targeting construction companies, contractors, and sub-contractors as today we have generated 690 leads
• Social media advertising, content marketing, and email campaigns
• In-person events and trade shows

- Financial Projections: Goal - 50% growth in members YOY With over 2,400 members signed up and onboarding close to 3,000 advertisers both in-
platform and off platform, we plan to reach $40M in gross revenue by year 2028
