Pharmaceutical temperatures contrail transportation

Bulldog Carriers is a small over the road 53ft trailer company. Will start to pull containers off the Savannah Port. The biggest thing we’re looking to do is add temperature control vans that haul Pharmaceuticals. Temps between 33-75 degrees. I have the business just Need the capital. Let the king for $250,000 or could do less. Up for discussion.

My name is William (Bill) Fuhrey.  I have over thirty-five years in logistics.  I started in 1988 with Roadway Express as a dock worker and linehaul driver.  After five years, I moved to Atlanta, GA with Roadway and worked the dock and drove in the city delivering local freight and picking up freight.  I went across the street to Spartan Express to become the Outbound Supervisor and eventually the City Supervisor.  I worked there for four years.  I improved the operation and was able to catch a group of people stealing electronics.  I saved the company hundreds of thousands of dollars and was able to get the people involved convicted.  I was then recruited to go back to Roadway Express Atlanta as a supervisor and no longer a teamster. This was a very challenging situation, to earn the respect of the staff, but was able to do so very quickly. I worked there for a few years then was recruited by Tyco Healthcare as a Receiving Manager of a 650,000 square feet facility. The cost per case was 0.48 per case and within one year I had it down to 0.29 per case.  Inventory was at 99.98% and I did this through controlling Labor, operational deficiencies and strict inventory measures. I was then put in the shipping department to evaluate their employees. One employee was extremely difficult, and I terminated him on my first day within fifteen minutes of his shift.  After that, all the employees yjay were riding the fence came over to the good side and we ran a very good operation as a team. I worked another couple of years and was recruited by a third-party logistics company called UTI Integrated Logistics.  I was the Operations Manager at a facility in Atlanta.  The operation was a Home Depot facility that did cross dock operations to 159 stores.  When I started, they had 108 employees and 9 supervisors.  They had a goal of 75 cartons per man hour and only obtained 54 cartons per man hour.  I spent the first few days observing, then came to the conclusion that they were very fat with labor. Within the first three weeks I terminated 40 employees and three supervisors. My cartons per man hour went to 75 at goal and to 108. We did so well that we were awarded three other facilities in the US.  They ended up moving the facility into a brand new one which was too far for me to travel.  I ended up working for Morgan Southern Drayage company. I was a dispatcher, driver liaison, and a critical customer account specialist for our biggest customer Dicks Sporting Goods. While I held those positions, I also investigated accidents with the DOT and local law enforcement when one of our drivers dumped a rail container on the highway. My work with these companies allowed me to build relationships with some of the most respectable people.  One of those was Barry Cronin with Tyco Healthcare.  He ran Tyco, globally.  He was on a much broader and higher level than I was. Barry has agreed to come out of retirement to consult me and build revenue streams.  He will also make sure our software is successful to gather everything we need. He already has me in contact with a person who worked for him and is the head of a Pharmaceutical operation. This individual is in control of land and air and knows every CEO by first name.  He said as soon as we get the van, he will get me going. I asked him what type of revenue stream we could do weekly and without missing a beat he said 40-90K per week . He’s just the start of it, we have other people we worked with who handle pharmaceutical shipping and are willing to use us. We also have Craig Law who was instrumental in building a multimillion-dollar protein company and is very good at Sales and structure. Gerry Clark is our Executive Administrator who has experience in all aspects of the office from Traffic Management, customer service, payroll, accounts payables and receivables.  She deals with customers and their need for driver retention, good service, and communication between them and the customer to ensure timely deliveries. Gerry has over fifteen years in this industry and is excellent in her skillset, dependable and motivated. We will start with one truck and once it comes out of manufacturing, we will do one to two weeks of dry runs to make sure we are operationally sound, with both temperature control and software. We are going to mirror Fed-EX but by no means are we trying to compete with them. They are too big and very good at what they do. We are merely carving out a place in the market that is small but very efficient and profitable. Our customer service will be better than FED-EX. Once we become successful with one truck, the flood gates will open for more business. We currently have plans to start with Atlanta as corporate and the first terminal then Florida and Pennsylvania. Down the road Kansas City Mo and Reno Nevada. This will allow us to service the entire country within eight hours of service. Obviously if a customer has a lane that needs service, and they have a lot of it, we can make a contract and operate in that lane. Our customers' needs will dictate or change some of our plans. We will make sure we don’t over promise and as vans come out of manufacturing, they will have business before they hit the road. Our goal is to start small cookie cut the first van make sure we are Operationally sound then our SOPs will be iron clad, and we won't miss a beat. The fact that it is very difficult to achieve, but we have done that through my sphere of influence, is that we have customers out of the gate, and we will build our trust and loyalty so they will continue to use us. We currently have a three-year company in long-haul that is currently going through some restructuring. We would like to have some cash influxes into this operation and offer a percentage of ownership.  Biocool will be separate, and we can work that out with you as well.I appreciate you taking the time to listen to us and hope to earn your trust and involvement in the company. Most of these pharmaceutical companies are anywhere from thirty- five billion to fifty billion companies. We plan on carving from that pie to become very successful. I would love to meet you and sit down to discuss any other questions you may have.  I am looking forward to hearing from you. Best Regards,William Fuhrey – [email protected]
