Britten & Bailey's is an omni-channel luxury home fragrance business built on the belief that luxury fragrance shouldn't break the bank. We offer exclusive fragrances, unmatched quality and expert design. With more than 13 years of expertise in the home fragrance industry, our founder develops each fragrance personally with a master perfumer to ensure it is unique and sophisticated. We use natural coconut wax blends and pure cotton wicks, positioning our brand for success with luxury customers requesting natural, soy free and sustainable products.
Our sales channels include e-commerce, monthly subscriptions, Amazon FBA and wholesale. Since launching, Britten & Bailey's has expanded to
over 50 wholesale customers in 15 states and just expanded our reach to multiple locations in Canada. Our
monthly subscription base has a 63% retention rate and an average subscription cost of $21.92. Our e-commerce channel has an
18% returning customer rate, and an
average order value of $54.23.
Up to this point the business has been developed, supported and maintained by the Founder, Tiffany Webb. With the ultimate goal of growing substantially, the business needs a team of experts to help sustain the existing business and support growth. This will allow the business to secure large key accounts in the wholesale channel, advertise to acquire new customers for our e-commerce and subscription customers and expand our manufacturing to support the production necessary to expand. Home fragrance, candles specifically, is
one of the fastest growing markets accounting for 8.38 billion USD in 2018 and expected to reach 13.72 billion USD by 2026. Given that we are already overtaking other candle brand's footprints in retail locations, given the right team and support we can take a significant portion of market share in a very short period of time. We simply need working capital to do so.
Tiffany, our founder, has over a decade of experience in the home fragrance and retail industry. Prior to starting Britten & Bailey's, she was the senior buyer for Hobby Lobby corporate. Responsible for rebranding, developing and designing multiple private label candle programs for the business to sell in it's more than 800 stores nationwide. In her time with this major retail company she grew her portion of the business over 90%, developed hundreds of successful fragrance collections, built lasting industry relationships (that support Britten & Bailey's current programs) both domestically and overseas and developed a exhaustive knowledge of the innerworkings of the candle and home fragrance business. Prior to Hobby Lobby she gained extensive knowledge in marketing, public relations, branding, graphic design, media production, advertising, event production, public speaking and sales.
