Bridals by Amanda

Bridals by Amanda is a full service bridal boutique that opened for appointments in January of 2023. I offer Bridal wear, accessories, suit and tux rentals, and day of wedding styling and coordination. I have been in the bridal industry for over 17 years in many different roles. I have been a stylist, buyer, manager, and a co-owner a different bridal boutique. After selling my shares to the last bridal boutique to my business partner at the time, I decided to take my skills out on my own. We are located in a historical district of Montgomery OH,  20 minutes north of Cincinnati. Cincinnati is well known for our "Bridal District" this area is 8 minutes away from my boutique and has 10 bridal shops in a 2 block radius.  Montgomery has brick laid sidewalks and a beautiful fountain that is directly outside our door. The space is bright and filled with natural light from the large windows which makes for a gorgeous setting to buy a wedding dress. 
I have strived to create an environment in my store that makes my customers feel at ease with the process of buying a wedding dress. It is my mission to provide full and exquisite service to my brides which is why I am the first bridal shop in the Cincinnati area that offers Brides day of styling services for an additional fee. This means that I will show up on the wedding day to help dress and style the wedding party and help with styling for their photos as well. 
Being new and in a competitive market like Cincinnati it is important to be able to offer different services that will set me apart from the competition. My inventory is priced anywhere from a 3-5x markup which has provided me with over a 75% profit margin. The first 6 months of sales has resulted in over $50,000 in sales. 

My team consist of just me right now, I would like to be able to bring on a staff member to be able to book more day of wedding styling services.
Funding will help me with working capital, a staff member, new inventory, and marketing.
