 We are a South Florida based commercial and residential general contractor/developer with a strategic commitment to the Affordable Housing market segment. Our multi patent pending design brings innovations such as category 5 hurricane resistance, moisture impermeable exterior, and high energy efficiency to single family and multi-family homes at a price point well below the prevailing market.

BRF Group Contractors, Inc, a Florida registered corporation, was formed in late 2017 by Robert Torres and Fernando Clemente. Mr. Torres has over 15 years of real estate sales and lending experience in the South Florida market. Mr. Clemente has over 30 years of experience in contracting and has managed the construction of numerous commercial projects including hospitals, office buildings, and bowling allies.

Construction activities focused on rehab projects from 2018 while new construction technologies were in the process of being patented. Once the patent applications were accepted by the US Trademark and Patent office and reached patent pending status, we began the final planning to introduce our incredible products to the retail market. A March 2020 introduction was announced, unfortunately this was delayed by the pandemic. 

We used this delay to expand our product offering and to enhance current product presentations on our website to include 3D virtual tours of all models.

Marketing efforts launched in early June 2020 through the MLS, social media and other web-based tools produced an immediate demand. The first month alone resulted in over 300 virtual showing requests and 30 contracts.

Currently, we have a backlog of 103 contracts that representing $24mm in revenues. Additionally, we are in discussions with a group representing military veterans to build an additional 250 homes (approximately $58mm revenue) and a 1,000 home subdivision planned for the Fort Myers, FL area. The land for the Fort Meyers project is already owned by the developer of this planned subdivision. We had to decide to slow our marketing efforts so that we can ramp up to handle the expected sales volume.  

Our funding request is for $5,000,000 to be used for the acquisition of vacant land in South Florida (Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach Counties) and working capital to hire needed employees and to implement necessary construction management and business systems to allow us to keep up with this incredible influx of new business opportunities. 

Business Model

Our BRF Group Contractor company is responsible for the construction of residential single family and multi-family homes throughout the State of Florida. BRF also works in the residential and commercial rehab and retrofit markets. The models currently being offered can be viewed on our website, www.eco-onebrandhomes.com.

BRF utilizes the construction technologies developed and owned by a sister company, 21st Century Construction Technologies, LLC, also a Florida based company. Both companies have common ownership.

21st Century is the inventor and owner of four (4) patent pending designs that allow us to build category 5 hurricane resistant homes but still compete in the affordable housing market. 21st Century also provides all 

of the designs and engineering work for the models being built by BRF. Additionally, 21st Century is also responsible for the marketing and sales of all the properties being built by BRF. 

From a strategic perspective, the 21st Century company will allow us to license this technology to other general contractors to markets that are strategically not attractive to BRF.

The “seed to flower” revenue stream is as follows:

21st Century Retail and Investor Sale Price - Contracted Building Cost from BRF = 21st Century Gross Margin

BRF Sale Price to 21st Century – BRF Construction Cost = BRF Gross Margin

21st Century Gross Margin + BRF Gross Margin = Total Company Gross Margin

Our Customers

We are strategically focused on the first-time home buyer and those who are currently unable to afford a home purchase due to insufficient funds for the prevailing market conditions in Florida. Our home models were designed to serve the affordable housing niche. For example, a 1,200 square foot home in South Florida sells in the $360k range while our model sells for $265k. 

We are currently in discussions with a group representing US military veterans to build 250 homes in S Florida. This can increase to 1,000 homes following the first phase of 250 units.

The planned subdivision in the Fort Meyers is for 1,000 homes built over a three (3) year timeframe starting in 2021. This will produce total revenue of approximately $265mm.

Our customers also include real estate investors who seek to purchase quality but affordable properties for the lucrative rental market. Current models including duplex, triplex, and townhomes are designed to meet the unique requirements of the real estate investor.

Rehab customers are retrofitting homes to incorporate our technologies into their personal homes. Currently, we are working on extensive upgrades on two (2) $1mm+ homes in South Florida. 

Products

We offer a range of fully featured single family homes for the affordable housing market as well as executive homes up to $1mm. Duplex, Triplex, Quadplex, and Townhomes are also available.

Our commercial product offerings include Condo/Apartment complexes, office buildings, and retail space.

All of our products incorporate strong, termite proof galvanized steel construction framing with our patent pending EcoProtection systems applied to all exterior walls and roof. This results in a home and/or building that is:

-          Hurricane resistant up to and including category 5 hurricanes.

BRF Group Contractors, Inc. ownership has been expanded from the original two founders to include a total of seven owners/directors. This amazing team has over 150 years of combined hands-on experience in the construction and real estate industry. Additionally, all seven owners perform day to day functions to support the business.

Mr. Torres first became a hugely successful mortgage broker and co-owner of a mortgage brokerage in 2004. After becoming a licensed real estate agent he co-founded the HTR Realty, LLC in 2005 and grew this business to manage a portfolio approaching $1bn.

Mr. Clemente has been a construction professional for over 30 years. Prior to co-founding BRF Group Contractors, Mr. Clemente was the Owner/President of a construction and remodeling company in Puerto Rico for 9 years. He also has extensive project management experience in multiple industries.

Ms. Porri is a highly successful business-woman with strong technical expertise (BS Mechanical Engineering) who is especially successful in creating and leading change to drive revenue growth, increasing global market share, and managing organizational excellence and achieving customer satisfaction while delivering economic value to the organization. Background includes over 40 years of manufacturing experience, in-depth understanding of managing all aspects of business including, financials, accounting, manufacturing processes, project management, sales/marketing, logistics, maintenance, quality and customer relations. 

Prior accomplishments include leading and managing the creation, development, and growth of a large business unit while with Ingersoll-Rand from its formative years to a global leadership position while also growing operating profits well in excess of company goals. Ms. Porri also has over 40 years of international travel and business experience with successful leadership, strategic alliance, organization and sales expertise in Europe, Middle East, South America, North America, Asia, and Australia. Ms. Porri has many years of success in senior management roles including CEO, COO, CFO, and Executive Vice President.

Mr. Bartlett is management professional with 40 years experience in the automotive and residential construction industries.  He spent the past 9 years successfully helping bring a new building system to market competing against well-established traditional building methods.  

Mr. Bartlett enjoys a challenge and the reward of seeing an idea develop into a successful business, particularly if it helps meet societal needs like affordable housing.
