I am a 501c3 organization and I have a vision of building our new sanctuary and turning our old sanctuary into a youth outreach facility that will be a safe haven for those children to get away from parents on drugs and bullying, poverty, negativity and not having enough to eat daily, especially when school is out for the summer. We divide space in our old facility to mentor, challenge, inspire, encourage these youth to think out the box. We mentor kids from 5 years old to 20. We offer anger management, communication skills, behavioral skills, entrepreneurship classes, we teach theatrics, music, life lessons. We don't leave out the fun and games. We also have a mini store that all youth take turn how to manage, run and open and close the cash register, count money, do inventory, balance sheets, customer service. We are excited to see them put everything in action when they think of their own business name and make their own product and sell it to our community. Our youth community fair gives them opportunity to learn, hard work pays off. They will learn how to embrace failure as an opportunity to do better the next time and those that did well, will embrace taking their product to the next level. We want the youth in all communities to be a part of taking a class with us and learn what their passion is and get other professionals involve helping teach them a trade that will give them a certificate they will be proud of.
Breath of Life Ministries also have a men home that help men from all walks of life especially those that are on drugs and want to change their life and gain sobriety. We work with Judges, probation officers, sheriffs, police officers, employment agencies. We work with Youth Villages for those teenagers that have nowhere to go after they turn 18 years old. What I have seen these young men have a lot of issues, we have men that really go forward and change, and some have stayed in our program for over 4 years and 5 years. Some men have, never had a job and we help them get their first job. Some went back to school that said the drugs fried their brains, but they finished with their master's degree, some have gotten married and bought their first home that was told they would be dead in a year or in prison forever. I have tried to get help from our homeless coalition, but nothing as of yet. I look to build apartments or duplex that will give these men the ability to be on their own, for only those that have graduated the program with maintaining their sobriety and maintaining a lifestyle that is ready to get back into society, but yet still keep their accountability with the program to ensure their continuous success living a life of sobriety. We are committed to seeing more lives change and stay change. The men in our program pay rent and learn how to pay their bills on time and the importance of paying off their fines and ending probations and learning how to maintain and enjoy a simple lifestyle. One young man was so tickle because he had never bought himself anything because of his life of addiction took it all. He never cared about himself nor what he looked like or how he smell. 6 months in the program and being around positive people like ourselves and the ministry caused him to think differently. He went to Walmart and bought some clothes for the first time. We were so happy for him just to learn how to love himself. He is still maintaining. IF these men have to come back because they thought they could live without the program, they could. We need a bigger home or facility because our home is small and our waiting list is long. Please help us to help more men. This is just a couple of testimonies.
Thank you Lord!! We are closing on our one of our Men Home at the end of this month March. We are still needing the same amount to buy 3 more homes and a women home. Lives are being changed and you can be apart of it. Thank you, you can also cash app-
