BraveHart Development is comprised of 3 partners, Brandon Vonnahme, David Pedelty, and Troy Hart. Upon co-founding BraveHart, the partners brought together a conglomerate of businesses. Collectively, they currently manage over 400 employees across several businesses in multiple industries. These businesses include Scooter’s Coffee, Verizon, Choice Hotels, IHG Hotels, Waxing the City, and Anytime Fitness. Brandon oversees the firm’s finance and accounting functions. Brandon has a master’s degree in finance and spent over 10 years in banking, starting as a Bank Examiner and ending as the CFO/COO of a regional bank in Iowa. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa, David began his career in retail management serving in progressive roles within Walmart and Best Buy, ending his time in a multi-unit management role, helping manage over $400M in revenue across 12 locations. He then spent time as the COO of a start-up medical records software company which was eventually acquired by venture capital and merged with a competitor, before becoming a partner in an HR Consulting firm for 8 years. Most recently he was the COO of a commercial contractor that specialized in hotel construction prior to co-founding BraveHart Development. Troy Hart has over 25 years of experience in franchising and hotels. Over the last 15 years, Troy has developed, owned, and managed 12 hotels. He currently still serves as the founder and President of Hart Family Hotels, a hospitality management company.

At the end of 2020, the firm launched a Scooter’s Coffee fund to develop and operate Scooter’s Coffee stores in South Dakota and Wisconsin. They developed and opened 12 locations in 18 months and will have 16 locations open and operating by the end of 2023.

BraveHart Development is now offering investment opportunities with our newest franchise concept, Hawaiian Bros. We are raising capital to develop and open 20 Hawaiian Bros locations in Iowa and Wisconsin. We have exclusive rights to Iowa and ROFR on the state of Wisconsin. Part of our agreement includes taking over a location that is set to open at the end of July this year. It’s a tremendous location and allows us to get to revenue very quickly with minimal cash burn. Hawaiian Bros is one of the most exciting new franchises we have ever seen. They have 37 corporate locations with an AUV (average unit volume) of almost $4M. This is as much or more than the AUV’s of some major brands, such as Raising Canes, Culvers, McDonald's, and Popeyes. They just began franchising this year with a 75-unit agreement in the South with the Stein Group who currently operate 100 other franchise units. Hawaiian Bros is a fast-casual / quick-serve restaurant concept with blazing fast drive-thru times. It’s not a restaurant, but it's real food (no fryers, no microwaves, no freezers), at industry-leading drive-thru times. They also have the highest average Google Reviews of any major fast-food brand.

Here are two links to videos they recorded during a few grand openings. They were filmed during Covid, so everyone is masked up, but they show the power of their brand and the crowds they draw. Pretty exciting!
