Product and Services:
Brava Kids Bar is a nutrition bar that is formulated with high quality ingredients at an industrial level. By this, I mean that this bar is produced in a facility that handles high production volumes. Because of the nature of the nutrition bar, the formulation and development are targeted to a shelf stable food item that is mixed, baked, packaged, and distributed within FDA compliance. Some of the nutritional components are whole grains , natural flavors,  sweeteners from natural sources, fibers,  fats and stabilizers. Ideally the product should have  Non-GMO,  gluten-free, and vegan certifications as well as fruit/vegetable dried blend for added vitamin and mineral content.

We are committed to the development of high-quality food products that are preferred by kids and their parents. Our products will be made from best quality ingredients that support the growth and development of school aged children.
As a Registered Dietitian it has always been my dream to create a food item that can provide value in the form of nutrition and sensory characteristics for human wellbeing. It has been my great honor to create Brava Foods LLC, as it is a company that represents the views and values I strive for as a professional, a mother, and human being. Our company is based in El Paso, Texas.

Target market:
Our target market are parents of school aged children, looking for healthier options for snacking. Our customer is  health driven, believes in the importance of smaller/newer businesses for local economy, and has values that transcend as he/she selects a snack for her/his children.  After careful evaluation it is fair to say that our product has a uniqueness and quality that is craved by our target market. In the early stages of creating the company it was observed that there seems to be an absence of a product that is automatically the “top of mind” or the leading brand in this product category. Our company is committed of exhausting all the efforts necessary to become the leading nutrition bar for children in the market. While achieving this title seems to represent a great challenge ahead of us, it is worth mentioning we have gathered a series of interrelated factors that will blend and create a sort of “synergy” that will carry from development, production, distribution and ultimately consumption of our clients. When I say the word “synergy” I mean constancy, motivation, creativity, and passion as the constant forces driving this project.

Marketing strategy:
Our product is to be sold online through a website, on farmer’s markets, retail stores. Our marketing strategy is through online adds via social media, streaming services, in addition to flyers, banners and other printed materials, these last items will be distributed in person while in fairs, markets and events. The first marketing campaigns will be simultaneously released as the product is launched. These will consist of social media ads that will contain the link to make purchases via e-commerce. Around the time the product launches it is our plan to make our first sales booth in farmer’s markets or available local events. When we make an appearance in these events our plan is to have a marketing display on tables, banners, posters, and clothes. After more revenue is generated, it is our plan to create a media clip with promotional purpose. From there and on, we will be developing ads on social media that are related to daily day life events, including holidays, events, weather, news, etc.  We strongly believe that good marketing strategies and campaigns are essential components of a successful business.

Financial Model:
 The first batch of production will need an investment of approximately 20,000 USD. This first production batch has the main intention of getting market awareness at a local level, and within this production we expect to send applications and samples to different supermarkets such as Whole Foods Market, Target, Sprouts Farmers Market, Wal-Mart and others available. We are confident that Brava kids bar will likely be accepted by some of these chains and will then be able to place a higher order volume to fulfill the needs of these stores. The production volume target will greatly depends on the volumes required by stores, however regardless of these numbers we are expecting a second production of at least 50,000 units. It is our goal to have a production volume of approximately 600,000 units annually.
