BMMA was born from my company, Bone’s Big Racks. An automotive service and custom fabrication company based in Peoria for over nine years...still boasting with a zero call-back record. Our philosophy is simple: It is not done... until it is done right. And that standard? That needs to be taught.
Right now, we are the only custom truck rack company within seven hundred and eighty miles of big box competitors. I’ve been approached by 2 of the largest distributors in the country. Partnering to open a regional hub and oversee all operations and distributions of their products for the southwest. Right here in Peoria.

Nearly laughing, i humbly declined the proposal... because I have a bigger mission. Repairing the hole, starting in our own backyard.
By offering a high-intensity, twelve-week course. Welding. Mechanics. But we don’t just take anyone. We target the underserved. We target the graduates with no path... and specifically, those coming through the judicial system.
As a success story myself... I know first hand of the restrictions and limitations that follow, post conviction. Tho talent exists, experience lacks. Employers are more likely to overlook a felon but a felon with a degree, has a better chance of consideration. I also founded my business once I found out just how difficult employment truly was. It seemed my only option of survival, legally. It was then I vowed to myself, that I would somehow create something better for good people stuck in a bad spot. Just so they wouldn't have go through what I did. One split second poor decision does not have to dictate the rest of a persons life. This is why our filtering process works so well. I know the ones that really WANT and NEED a change. My directors can ID them with pinpoint accuracy too.
First filter:
Succession as a graduate or succession of completion of a sentence.
Second filter,
This is a referral-only program. You can’t just sign up. You must be chosen by a counselor, a judge, or an officer of the law.
Third filter:
Then, they go through a two-day trial. We test their grit. We test their speed. We only take twenty-five students a year... because we keep the information tight.
Now, here is the power that runs the engine:
Every seat is a twenty-one thousand dollar scholarship value. No out-of-pocket costs once the scholarship is awarded. Instead, they sign the Three hundred-Sixty-Six Day Ledger.
This is how it works:
They go to work for a year. Then they return. They give us one week a year, for five years. They mentor the juniors... and they spend sixty percent of their 200 labor hours of time servicing the City’s fleet.
If they break that contract? It becomes a collectable debt... payable ONLY to the City.
The numbers:
By year five? There is a nine million dollars savings. By year ten? That compound hits thirty million dollars.
By year eleven... the machine is in full motion., under its own ecosystem. Whether I am there or not... BMMA has generated thirty-nine point two-five million dollars of total impact. Then another nine point two five-million-dollar dividend for this community, EVERY SINGLE YEAR that follows.
I have put nearly one hundred thousand dollars of my own assets into this. Everything I own is in this machine. Nearly fearless of my commitment, i only slightly worry that we have struggle keeping pace to the demand.
The ask:
To ignite Phase One... I need the legal armor. The APPSE licensing. The surety bonding. The Insurance protection. Lastly, the brick and mortar to facilitate a pilot program to prove the numbers with multiple City Directors in various divisions, as our ongoing talks continue. Government funding will then be released, is my understandings.
People complain about where the world is headed... we have to start by changing the people in it first.
