Blooming Minds Counseling, located in McMinnville, Tennessee, began offering mental health services in December, 2021 by the owner/manager Tammy Pawlak. We offer mental health services to clients ranging in age from 3 years old up to and through adulthood. In addition to offering mental health services to people in our community we also offer services to those needing anger management through the court system. Our services are necessary to the communities we serve. We are the only clinic able to offer specialty counseling to young children with an autism diagnosis and their families. These early intervention services are paramount to our clients and their caregivers as they help improve the overall quality of life for the individual and their family.
Blooming Minds Counseling offers a wholistic approach to therapy services. We believe in engaging the entire family, when possible, in the therapeutic process. Being able to address issues affecting individual clients at the individual and family level offers a better overall outcome for both the client and their family.
The purpose of this plan is to get $500,000 in new funding. With this funding we can expand the practice to offer more mental health services to our rural communities without individuals having to drive over 50 miles to bigger cities including medication manhagement/psychiatrist. We plan to add more office space to our existing office space and add more therapists and fully staff our office. Having a fully staffed office will allow for our therapists to focus solely on their clinical duties rather than having to do both clinical work and office duties.
We currently have a wait list of up to a year for our services. With the addition of more staff we can reduce or even eliminate the wait list, offer much needing mental health services to the communities we serve and generate more revenue.
