I develop senior housing and shopping centers. I have a 220 unit project I am trying to syndicate and a 90,000 sf shopping center in a great area of New Jersey. The Senior apartments have all approvals and I am trying to raise money to start construction. I have a construction loan and we own the land and I need sufficient money to start. The shopping center is a strip center in a good location in E. Windsor, NJ on Rt 33. I need to complete the approval process. Then I will sell off two out parcels to a day care center and an adult day care center and have a very nice strip center and a restaurant pad with great visibility and access on a major road. I have been a developer for 50 years and have developed apartments and successful shopping centers before. I was semi-retired, but lost my wife to Alzheimer's and need to get back to productivity doing what I love. I intend to build a model for investing in new or renovated shopping centers that are in great locations. There is also a need for affordable senior housing and I have a reputation for that and will pursue it and develop a team to search for the right opportunities. With the right partners we can create great opportunities to either hold or sell and reinvest. I believe we can double our investment in 5-6 years and make 7% annually during the hold with a good tax shelter.
