Biolux Technology markets intra-oral light therapy medical devices to healthcare professionals which enable improved care delivery to orthodontic and periodontal patients.
- Our orthodontic product, OrthoPulse, is an FDA cleared, Class 2 Medical device that generated $2M revenue in 2025 with unit margins of 75%. It is well documented to reduce treatment times, reduce pain and improve tooth movement predictability.
- In development, PerioPulse offers an antibiotic free, clinically effective adjunct treatment for periodontal disease. It kills causative bacteria while stimulating tissue regeneration with a cost effective, safe, noninvasive medical device. Furthermore, following the dental office visit, PerioPulse can be self-administered at home with daily 10-minute sessions for sustained bacterial suppression and tissue recovery acceleration.
- These two products share a common supply chain, and both are protected with an existing patent portfolio of 38 patents. We recently had a favorable IP ruling in Japan with OrthoPulse.
- Periodontal disease is the most prominent disease state in the world affecting over 1.5 billion people. This persistent, progressive pathogenic biofilm contains several different bacteria, causes systemic inflammation, can lead to bone and tooth loss, and is directly linked to a host of serious healthcare issues in adults (heart disease, diabetes, pre-term birth, dementia). The periodontal market is severely underserved technologically and represents a $30B global opportunity.
