Introduction -

BidMatch is a company that provides sellers of U.S. real estate an online platform where they can request and negotiate real estate sale commission rates from licensed real estate agents/brokers.

Once a seller has submitted the required information and sent their request via our website, real estate agents can then reply with their offered commission rate (as a percentage of the sale price of the property) for seller review.

The seller can then choose to communicate with one or more agents and decide which agent (and offered commission rate) to accept.

Sellers are under no obligation to choose any one agent and only disclose the specific address of the real estate to be sold when they are ready.

BidMatch is not a real estate agency and serves only as an online platform for connecting sellers with real estate agents/brokers for the purpose of selling real estate.

Background -

The idea for BidMatch originated from the perspective of a home seller, faced with the prospect of paying up to 6% commission upon sale of their home. With BidMatch, sellers can potentially reduce the amount of commission by thousands of dollars (in effect, making significantly more money on the sale of their home). While the model can work in any market, it is especially powerful in a tight real estate market as we are seeing today.

We have put an emphasis on seller privacy, allowing them to control what personal information they disclose to real estate agents until they are ready to do so (thereby preventing agents from unsolicited contact of sellers outside the BidMatch website).

Our business in a registered LLC in the State of California, based in San Diego County. We have trademarked "BidMatch" and have completed our "soft launch" with a promotional period for real estate agents and have had over 20 agents registered to date. 

As a subscription-based service, there is a huge potential for revenue. For example, if 1,000 agents are paying for the service, monthly revenue would be at minimum of $49,000 (figure based on 1,000 agents opting for the yearly fee plan of  $490).

We have also spent a significant amount of time developing and testing the backbone of our business; the robust 'back end' programming that matches the home sellers with the real estate agents. Additional programming features provides real time text notifications to sellers and agents regarding communications, a chat messaging system, and a comprehensive database for BidMatch staff to track statistics.

We are now ready to 'hard launch' and a hire professional marking person to broadcast/advertise to the national market. Funding raised would be primarily used for marketing purposes with a small percentage for website hosting, maintenance, etc.
