There is a 307,000-skill labor shortage which is causing a gap in high skilled craftsmen. Material costs have continued to increase and are up 34.65%. Materials and supplies lead times have more than doubled. Added to this problem 99% of construction companies do no form of self-evaluation. The accountability of and insight into service providers within the industry is not provided in a peer review structure. This environment makes it an exponential necessity to choose the top teams and suppliers for the commercial construction industry’s profitability and the strength of its future.
Solution:
Bidfit’s solution is to build a subscription-based platform offering an extensive, time-saving resource of peer-reviewed commercial subcontractors and suppliers, The review will be a positive, constructive evaluation sent anonymously to the reviewed to provide self-evaluation. Bidfit will offer the team builders and the teams a place where they can be found, obtain constructive reviewed insights, industry developing resources, and encouraging educational content to further strengthen our industry.
Differentiation:
The commercial construction industry is our sole focus. The affordable, extensive, time saving platform will offer more control over building efficient, profitable teams. The reviews will be by those in the field. The positively designed reviews will anonymously be sent to the reviewed for self-evaluation. Our educational content will be driven by the reviewed insights and the industry’s progression toward the future.
Monetization:
Our B2B, SaaS, ConTech website will offer the team builders a full access profile that is a tiered subscription based scale on them being proactive in building the database. Passive subscribers’ monthly cost will be $120 per month while active subscribers will be $85 per month. Subcontractors and suppliers will have their passive lead generation profile at $15 per month. We will have website advertising monetization only in the educational content area and it will only be from those whose products that can strengthen the commercial construction industry.
