Our Beef Jerky Experience store in Red Lodge, Montana has been open since June 8th of 2022. We carry 45 different flavors of beef jerky along with wild game jerky (buffalo, elk and venison). We also carry salmon, shark, camel and several other exotic meats. In addition, we sell popcorn, peanuts, fried garlic, freeze dried fruits and pumpkin seeds. There are many other products in the store like hot sauces, rubs, seasonings, jerky making kits, jarred foods and squeezes. We also have a pet zone with many dog and cat treats. We sell the beef jerky in 3 oz bags 12 oz
The only competition in town is the local Town pump gas station. Our team currently has three employees, myself, my wife and a local 16 year old girl that works during the summer and every other Saturday during the school year. She started at the age of 14. At 15 she ran the store 4 to 5 days a week. Her aspirations are to manage the store after she graduates.
We are currently located in Red Lodge, Montana which is a tourist destination and ski resort town. Red Lodge is located at the base of the Beartooth Pass and the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
Red Lodge hosts a number of events throughout the year. Events include the Red Lodge Rodeo and parades (4 days), Harley Davidson bike rally and poker runs (4 days), sping, summer and fall food and game festivals (3 days each), Songwriters festival (3 days) and the Christmas Stroll (2 days). Red Lodge also holds 2 major sheep dog and dog pulling events. Just outside of Red Lodge, there are 25+ campgrounds, fishing accesses, ATV trails, 50+ hiking trails and numerous horseback riding trails.
We are looking to expand to Cody, Wyoming, which is another tourist destination town and is the access to the South entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The big draws for Cody, Wyoming is, of course, the South entrance but is home to one of the largest museums in the country. Cody is also home to the Stampede Rodeo which runs for 100 consecutive days. With the 100 days of rodeo, downtown has a Wild Bill shootout reenactment for the same 100 consecutive days as the rodeo. Our store is located on the same street as the reenactment and located right next to the ticket office for the Stampede Rodeo. Like Red Lodge, Cody has many of the same recreation activities.
Our goal is to own and operate five successful stores. Each store location will be in Yellowstone National Park entrances, Glacier National Park entrance and the Grand Teton National Park entrance.
