I am a baseball official in the state of Louisiana. I'm involved with LHSAA, NCAA, USSSA, 2D and American Legion, just to name a few. I'm also a patented inventor of baseball hitting equipment and my dream is to someday build a state of the art baseball training facility with more than just batting cages. My facility will utilize most of the hitting equipment already available and will also be a place to use my inventions. I strongly feel the need to give back to the youth in my community, not only to increase their talent level but to give them a place to grow as athletes and future leaders of our state and country. I also believe that children who play sports are more likely to succeed in life. I've played sports my whole life and I've accomplished things that many people can only dream of accomplishing. In 2002 following the terrorist attacks on 9/11, I joined the Army and proudly served my country until I was honorably discharged in 2016. Today, I am a disabled veteran who struggles everyday with PTSD and being an Umpire not only allows me to still be a part of the sports community but it's also my way of relieving those struggles that I deal with on a daily basis.
