Banquette is all about building genuine, real-life connections in an increasingly digital world. We bring people together around a restaurant dinner table to create meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences. We believe there’s nothing more powerful than great food and great company. What sets Banquette apart from other apps is our unique approach to social media. While many platforms focus on virtual connections, we prioritize real-life meetups. By taking care of all the organization, from using AI to curate the right group and restaurant, to providing in-app ice breakers and games, we eliminate the hassle and awkwardness, allowing our users to focus on creating genuine connections and enjoying themselves.

Monetization Strategy

Banquette operates on a triple business model. Firstly, We partner with restaurants as true stakeholders, providing them with an innovative solution for filling tables and acquiring new customers. Next, our B2B model enables businesses and virtual communities to employ face-to-face networking through banquette. We also plan to roll out a subscription-based revenue stream for users, offering premium features exclusive events, increased rewards and promotions, and targeted services like dating and networking. We believe this model ensures a sustainable revenue stream and strong partnerships. We have already secured 30 partnerships with various restaurants and online tech communities.

User Acquisition

We have developed a robust user acquisition and retention strategy. Our marketing campaigns target specific demographics, leveraging social media, influencer partnerships, and content marketing to drive user growth. We also have powerful incentives and rewards to referrals. We have already seen impressive traction, with nearly 100 sign-ups on our waitlist, and 12 banquettes completed over the last 4 weeks, during our closed beta.

Team and Expertise

We have assembled a group of industry experts, including Mo, our CTO, who is a self-built go-getter, first generation college attendee, to then start his career at Meta and moving to SF. He has extensive full-stack development experience, and has led the development from the ground up for Banquette. As for myself, I am deeply passionate about the startup ecosystem, with experience in B2C and B2B companies in a wide range of roles. My strongest expertise comes in GTM strategy and operations, and product management. With a deep understanding of the market, strong technical capabilities, and a shared passion for fostering real connections, we are well-positioned to lead Banquette to success.
