Bakeshop Bar

  My company, Bakeshop Bar, will be a bakery and full-scale coffee bar serving a variety of specialty drinks and quality consistent baked goods. Customers will be able to dine in with access to wifi for those needing a space to work while also serving those on the go. As well as accommodating larger orders for events.

  My team has a combined  29 years of experience in the restaurant industry working every position including general management.  I have also taken classes in marketing.

  The property I am interested in is a stand alone building located along the road in a busy suburban neighborhood next to, two shopping centers with high traffic and an easily accessible parking lot. There are no major competitors in the area. My goal would be to grow the company and eventually open multiple locations.

  I have always had a passion for baking but over half a year ago I decided to take my career to the next step by investing in the proper equipment to create the items for my menu in large amounts. All of these items were given to friends, neighbors, and co-workers in order to receive feedback as well as advertising my businesses name. After directly reaching over 200 people through this method and more through word of mouth, I have gained many positive responses and requests for orders. 

  I had chosen to sell coffee as well because not only does it accompany baked goods well, it is a product that will always sell, and encourage guests to return more often. I have ordered from multiple local roasters in order to choose the coffee I believe to be the most full-bodied and flavorful.

As the economy continues to recover, I will aim to offer competitive pay while ensuring a work environment that encompasses positive mental health. I strongly believe that an employees demeanor will be the ultimate determination of whether or not customers return.

  I have purchased the domain for my website, completed my business plan with start up costs, and reached out to my lawyer and the city. I am prepared for the additional steps after obtaining funding. Thank you for your time and consideration.
