Baked by Cheffrey's mission is to deliver top of the line artisanal pastries that are 100% made from scratch. Offering fresh, preservative free food is key to eating healthy and clean. This is something that big name companies have steered away from in America and I aim to bring back the wholesomeness of fresh, clean food. Highlighting our talent and artistry at Baked by Cheffrey is also a key value because we believe that our staff deserves recognition for their hard work. We differentiate ourselves from other bakeries by offering sugar and chocolate sculptures for events ranging from corporate parties to wedding events, and we are one of the only independent bakeries in the area to offer this field of pastry arts to the average consumer. In addition, we add the convenience of shopping from your home by shipping products straight to your door, regardless of where you are in the United States.

I am seeking investors to be able to open my flagship store and take this operation to the next level. Right now, the current business model operates online for local pickup/delivery orders and I ship to the continental US. Last year I was able to set up a physical location with one of the Philadelphia's farmers markets organizations from Spring-Fall. I am set to expand the markets this season with the same organization, increasing from only one market last year to four! Two of these markets are located outside of Philadelphia and will be extremely beneficial to increasing customer acquisition.  In addition, I am currently working out deals with four other businesses in Philadelphia to wholesale/pop-up in their shops. 

My customers range in age, ethnicity, financial status, and more. From the market I operated last year, many people stopped by our table for grab and go items, as we were situated outside of Jefferson hospital, one of the top hospitals in the nation. We had patients, visitors, doctors, office workers, tourists, and residents stop by on a weekly basis for our baked goods. Many customers inquired about products that fit within their dietary restrictions and I was able to develop a menu that catered to their needs, which brought many returning customers to the market. 

At Baked by Cheffrey, we offer a wide variety of bakery products: Bars, Breads, Breakfast Pastries, Candies, Cakes, Chocolates, Cookies, Cupcakes, Pies, Tarts, Sculptures,  and more. The two highest selling products I offer are my Browned Butter Blondie Bar and decorated cakes. I work on this venture by myself 90% of the time, and I am fortunate enough to have had my partner work the market for me last year. However, with the demand and increase in markets/wholesale contracts this year I need to hire market managers and bakers to assist with production. This increase in labor and production is a huge reason as to why I need investors. 

Investing in Baked by Cheffrey, LLC  will allow me to be able to resign from my current full-time job at another bakery, freeing up my schedule to focus my efforts on growing this bakery to its highest potential. It will also allow me to hire bakers and market managers, increase my inventory, ultimately working towards opening a retail location.
