AYS stands for “At Your Service”; our goal is to be a private membership bar lounge and restaurant for First Responders. Thus providing a Safe Haven and the best entertainment without the outsiders!
AYS welcomes First Responders from all jurisdictions, this includes: Dispatch, Police and their Canine partners, Fire, EMT/ Rescue, Correctional Officers and Military Personnel.
In challenging times as today, Society is distracted by the negativity and Social Stereotypes towards our Heroes in Uniform. It’s time to change that mindset and fight back! So, the goal for AYS is to be “At Your Service” for once.
AYS will provide food and drinks from local farms and breweries to give our men, women and canines a ‘Farm-to-Table’ experience. Giving nothing but the best to those who Protect & Serve!
Since AYS is a private membership establishment, it makes this business that much more unique and like no other place of entertainment! No distractions. No outsiders. A safe place from a long day on the “Battlefield”...making this the perfect place for themselves, their families and friends. A Home away from Home!
Since AYS is in its baby stages, we are searching for a manager who has experience in keeping order within a business such as AYS. Consideration in hiring veterans, with hospitality experience, is also a priority to provide a more comfortable environment for those who come in to unwind from a long day in the field. With the addition to well trained bar tenders, chefs and servers. **All this will come to fruition with the assistance of the lawyer I have appointed as my legal help.
Merchandise such as hoodies, mugs, car decals, etc. will be available to make it more personal for these amazing individuals. Gives them something to bring home with them to remember the good they experienced even if it was a short time. A section of the restaurant I want to dedicate called “Mug Shots”; photos of those who came in showing faces of happiness and joy! Consideration of making a yearly calendar with photos of local First Responders to help with local charities; this provokes the awareness that our Men and Women in Uniform are just like you and I...sparks unity within our communities and eventually united as a Nation!
Lastly, I as the founder want to give a brief of the progress I have made. With preparing such a large project, I needed to find a reliable lawyer. A wonderful man who runs Maynard Law in a nearby town loved the mission for the “First Responders Project” and is willing to help me make AYS official once I find a suitable place to be the establishment. Whilst searching high and low, I found a beautiful restaurant and bar for sale in a nearby town with a stunning view! My goal is to renovate the establishment and also add a garden out back for a place of reflection; giving them the opportunity to plant flowers in remembrance of those who’ve fallen in the field. Thus automatically seeing the potential for this business and its future! I want these people to be themselves and feel at peace for once: At Home!
I created a beautiful logo, business cards, Facebook page and Instagram page to spread the word. I know it’s not official yet, but this gives me an idea of what AYS is and could be. This may not be much, but it’s a tremendous step forward to making AYS a reality.
Although it’s starting off small and simple, I can see many more being developed and established throughout the United States in the future. This is a bold step to make, but a revolutionary one at best. Changing the mindset of how we view our First Responders through bringing together our communities and country by “Serving One Uniform at a Time!
