I’m a former Gyn surgeon who lost 50 lbs and healed myself from an auto-immune arthritis that almost immobilized me using only diet & lifestyle changes. I now look and feel 20 years younger than my chronological age of 70 years! With 40 years as an OBGYN and a decade as a Nutrition and Longevity Consultant, I’ve spent over 5000 hours supporting women. So many mature women of color struggle with their weight, diabetes, high blood pressure or problems with their heart as they age and are overwhelmed trying to do all the women’s tasks they have to do in an unhealthy state. I help them lose weight and reverse diseases without medication so they can age with vibrant health.
I offer a 12-week virtual group coaching program called Balance to Bloom, one-on-one private coaching sessions also 12-week duration, a virtual 21-day Intermittent Fasting Challenge (4 weeks), quarterly in-person mini retreats 4-6 hours duration, and quarterly one hour workshops done in collaboration with my colleague, a licensed acupuncturist. All participants obtain baseline labs to check their biomarkers for inflammation and chronic diseases so I can provide personalized advice, recommendations, and support. The participants are paired with accountability partners to enhance engagement. On a daily basis, they complete my "Set Your Intentions & Celebrate Your Successes" form to track their work and progress. This type of tracking strategy provides acknowledgement of their successes while working with me and gives them more staying power and motivation. I teach them how to create and use their Self-Care tool kit of strategies to help manage stress, strengthen their mental fitness muscles, and cultivate a positive growth mindset. They learn that food is their medicine, the mind-body-gut connection for optimal health, and how to slow aging and achieve longevity as they age with vitality.
