Invest in the Uber of virtual assistance!

Did you know there are over 4 BILLION google searches every day? While google is an amazing way to get answers to a lot of questions, there are clear limitations when it comes to seeking specific help online. People spend hours trying to find a solution that an expert could provide in a matter of seconds.

That is why I am building the Uber of virtual assistance!

Athena will be the go to place for anyone that is struggling to get a quick answer online. Need help with a task in photoshop? Struggling to get that formula right in excel? Don't want to spend hours watching videos and reading instructions just to filter down to the specific couple of clicks you need to get the job done? Athena is here to help!

Just last week I was having issues with my google business account (I wasn't receiving emails). to resolve this issue, I read help articles for 30 minutes to try and solve it myself. Then i went to google customer support and waited in line for 30 more minutes before I was connected to someone via chat. Once we were chatting, it took AN ENTIRE HOUR more for us to solve the problem. Let me be clear - this issue could have been solved in under 30 seconds if someone who knew what they were doing was able to look at my screen and help. Athena will enable users to save a ton of energy and frustration while allowing them to focus on things that actually require time and thought.

The platform is designed as a two sided marketplace allowing users to sign up looking for help on one side, while others sign up to be the helpers they they will ultimately get connected to. Once someone in need of help is connected to a helper, they will enter a virtual conference or 'session' that allows them to videochat, screen share, share files and more. Once this is concluded, the helper will receive a payment based on their rate and the duration of the session. Athena will keep part of this payment as the rake, which will be the main source of revenue for the company. Athena is going to start off by offering help in a few specific areas before branching out to conquer the more general market of online assistance.

Currently Athena is comprised of myself as Founder and CEO as well as a small team of advisors.

Advisors include a current COO at a large tech startup as well as a an entrepreneur who just sold a business for over 20M.

Funding to date is 20K.
100K is required to build the first version of the platform.
