AskGeeser Corporation

We are  developing a social media site for kids middle school to high school age. The purpose would for the kids to learn from each other by asking questions, getting answers and getting rewards. The beta is scheduled for launch 10/24/22. Many features will be developed later and not included in the MVP. We want to develop an environment where kids can learn and develop in a nonbullying but active way. We will use funds to build out the UI/UX experiences to make the site appealing for kids. Our business model:  

- Subscription this comes with exclusive moderators ready via chat to monitor activity, increase awards
- Freemium a la carte   test before you buy option

- Advertising targeted marketing for kids
All users will have moderating and basic parental controls but subscriptions will have more product offerings.
To help with the financial needs I have engage and will continue to engage with Interim CFO Jerry Nemorin Founder/CEO from Lend Street Financial 
I will use funds to hire additional consultants to meet the product roadmap. The funds will also be used to expand the product offerings to include additional features such as we are planning for the actual product launch to offer Ask Me Anything(AMA) with teen social media influencers. In an effort to have continuous learning we will feature AMA with career day professional, educators, mental health provider, and college prep experts.

My background: I'm a Product Manager in both the Healthcare and Human Capital industries. I founded AskGeeser in 2009 but delayed efforts to bring to market due to timing. The mission in 2009 and today is the same there needs to be a safe place for kids to learn life skills not always obtained in school settings using education, technology merged with psychology. AskGeeser does that. 

AskGeeser's Story:

I'm the Original AskGeeser! I started giving advice as a child at age 8. My peers would look to me to provide answers based on various issues we faced as children. I read  lot so I would advise family members and adult friends! I earned the nickname "Geeser". Growing up wasn't easy for me because at age 8 I was put into situations that only an adult could understand. I became an adult before I could be a child. During my adulthood I studied psychology as an effort to understand myself. I studied social psychology to learn about my environment and what made me different. I studied forensic psychology to understand those that forced me to grow up before my time. I realized that there might be other children out there who are too smart for their own good! Experts in various topics that others want to ask them questions. I found that there is a lack of confidence in our children. I wanted to hone that in our children early and teach them how to discern all different kinds of information. I wanted them to learn how to set goals. I wanted them to learn to be ok with having fun. How to reward others and obtain rewards themselves. AskGeeser was born because all of our kids are Geesers!
