AquaFrontier is an ocean technology company developing autonomous underwater sensing platforms and AI-powered ocean intelligence solutions that make marine data more affordable, accessible, and actionable. Our mission is to democratize ocean intelligence by enabling persistent, high-quality monitoring without the cost and complexity of traditional oceanographic systems.
Our flagship platform, the Geery Glider, is a biomimetic autonomous underwater vehicle designed for single-operator deployment without the need for research vessels or specialized launch infrastructure. The platform integrates multimodal sensing—including stereo vision, passive acoustics, and environmental sensors—with AI-driven data processing to provide actionable insights for a wide range of marine applications.
Beyond hardware, AquaFrontier is building an open ocean intelligence platform that standardizes, analyzes, and delivers ocean data through accessible cloud-based tools. By combining autonomous sensing, intelligent analytics, and interoperable data services, we enable governments, researchers, conservation organizations, and commercial operators to collect and use marine information more effectively.
