Anne Bradford Gallery

Anne Bradford Gallery will open a fine art gallery to promote local artists - painters, sculptors, and photographers in a brand new building with high visibility and a growing market. This will be the first gallery in this area which is home to a population of 153,000  with a median age of 36. In the past few years the population and the development of new single and multi-homes have exploded, and much more is being planned. Older shopping areas are being remodeled, roads are being widened, and while all this industrious activity is happening, there remains one missing element – there is not one art gallery in the area. There is however, a captive market. New homes and new businesses always need artwork on their walls and this gallery, whether it’s original paintings, giclee prints or photographs, plans to provide that.

In the past, (2000) Anne Bradford established the ANNE BRADFORD STUDIO & GALLERY in Healdsburg, CA. From that date forward to 2004, the gallery showcased original artwork from over 40 local and Bay Area artists while providing exhibitions, and cultural experiences that enriched community life. Unfortunately, in 2004, the main thoroughfare from San Francisco to Healdsburg was under construction which shut down the flow of visitors, tourists and clients.  Here, in this new site, I do not expect anything like that to happen.

In addition, the gallery will host public events, artist talks, educational workshops, youth engagement activities, and cultural programs designed to increase arts participation.
