Hello, my name is Kyle Kelly, and I've built and designed a social networking application from scratch. The product is named "Ani". What is Ani? Ani is a social networking platform that caters specifically to anime, manga, and video game enthusiasts, providing a creative and unique space for users to connect, share, and engage in meaningful conversations about their favorite niches.
Our platform aims to create a global community of fans who can come together in a safe and inclusive environment to celebrate their passion for the media they love. Our platform offers a unique space for users to share their passion for their niche and connect with like-minded individuals from around the world. Ani serves as a gateway platform for both newcomers to the space and established individuals looking for a new home.
Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive online community for anime, manga, and video game enthusiasts to come together, share their passion for the media they love, and engage in meaningful conversations about their favorite topics.
I've created and detailed a total of ten business models for Ani. These business models are:
- Ai model: Users can upload and purchase models, LoRA's, chatbots, and more to enhance their experience on the platform.
- Gaming Model: Micro games will help users discover new, user-generated games tailored to their interests, enabling gamification within the platform to drive revenue and engagement.
- Subscription model: Users will pay a monthly or annual fee to access premium features on the platform.
- Advertising Model: Revenue will be generated by displaying targeted advertisements to users based on their interests and behaviors on the platform.
- Freemium Model: A basic version of the platform will be offered for free with limited features and key sponsor/ad placement.
- Digital E-commerce model: A digital e-commerce feature will be incorporated into the platform to facilitate the sale of stickers, models, LoRA's, chatbots, and other digital products.
- Livestreaming Model: Users will be able to livestream on the platform and receive real-time support by donating on the platform.
- Partnership model: Partnering with anime, manga, and video game studios, conventions, merchandise stores, and other key industry players to provide unique content, special discounts, and exciting experiences for our platform users.
- Boosting model: Boosting users' content to the top spot of the platform for approximately 10 - 15 minutes, allowing for maximum engagement and increased discoverability within the platform itself.
- Selling user data
Currently, the team consists solely of me, who has been driving the product from research, development, design, testing, etc.
We currently have 500 users signed up to the platform, with 100 daily active users using the application. I have identified key pain points and issues within the product for users and am looking to expand with funding. This funding will expand the team size, server cost, testing, research and further development to leave mobile and become desktop friendly as well. Users are fatigued with the current structure of social networking and want change but especially want a platform that will dedicate their time and energy directly to the user.
