AmeriConstruct is an African American-Owned team of real estate/construction recruitment professionals based in Oakland, CA. We have over 100 years combined recruiting experience, and over 50 years combined experience serving the real estate, development, and construction industries. We focus on recruiting Superintendents, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Property Managers, Asset Managers, and other senior-level personnel for General Contractors and Developers and their projects.
Our agency is the vision of Founder Neil Lockhart who is also our CEO. He started AmeriConstruct in San Francisco, CA in October 2017 specifically to address the lingering shortage of available qualified real estate/construction professionals. We have a key focus on promoting the abilities of under-represented candidates such as minorities and women - often overlooked in the building industries.
We were thriving with an office in San Francisco and Houston - until the Pandemic hit us hard. We lost many of our clients. But the good news is we managed to stay in business, and we are still a force in staffing, and on our way back to pre-Pandemic times. With your help, we hope to be all the way back very soon. It is the bridge we need to help us get to the other side we once knew.
We're seeking to raise $200k for operating expenses. This includes funds for our ongoing marketing campaigns, outreach, hiring seasoned recruiters, PR, penetrating niche markets, and more. Our mission is to make all our placements within 30 days so that our clients (who are some of the most recognizable names in the construction and development industries) projects are on time and on budget. This has been challenging to accomplish with limited resources.
