Our Founder:
Alli Blair, the founder, is a Parsons-trained designer, with an enterprising attitude, and experience in fabric development, clothing design and supplier communication. With a sustainable mindset that flows from her roots, she noticed the lack of clothes that were made both fashionably and responsibly, and was tired of having to make compromises, either with style or sustainability. As a response to that, Alli Blair the label was born. Growing up in the suburbs of Manhattan, Alli spent most of her childhood successfully competing in horse-back riding, while travelling all over the world. Capably juggling this rigorous schedule with her academic commitments at Berkshire School, she thrived in math, science and the arts, and (naturally) led the Sustainability Committee. A scholarship to Southern Methodist University, and in particular a course on Italian fashion, helped her realise that fashion was her future, which led to an Associates at Parsons with a 3.9 GPA and an offer of Valedictorian. Alli is currently a designer for Sachin & Babi, working on fabric development, main collection design, and collaborations for partners such as BHLDN, Anthropologie, Dillards and Carolina Herrera. She also manages all communications with Sachin & Babi’s fabric manufacturers and garment factories.

Core Sustainability Principles
 NATURAL
Every element of every garment is naturally-derived, right down to the trims. In the future, as soon as the technology exists, we want it all to be recycled as well.
OPEN
We put it all out on the table, educating our customers, sharing our innovations, and welcoming a following of changemakers. In the future, we will extend our size ranges even further, because sustainability should be for everyone.
DESIGNED TO BE LOVED
Every piece has been considerately made, for the wearer to love, and to love themselves in. Clothes that spark joy are cared for and cherished, then saved and passed along to the next generation.
NOT INVINCIBLE
When clothes are made respectfully, nothing lives forever. Our products are the finest quality, but when their time comes, they can biodegrade. 30% of our products can be sent back and recycled. As soon as the technology exists, our aim is to reach 100%.

Leverage
The founder, Alli Blair, has 3 years of experience working as Associate Designer and Fabric R&D Manager - holding the responsabilities of product development, graphic designer, and other odd jobs behind the scenes - working on around 5 collections at any given time. This has given her very strong problem solving skills, as well as management and collaborative skills that exceed those of her peers.
An investor and our in-house shoe designer owns our footwear manufacturing facility and has important contacts in the manufacturing industry in Italy, specifically in
With advisors in finance, strategic consumer marketing, operations, retail, e-commerce and sustainability, we have a leg up on other start-up brands.
