Aligned Hospitality Management (AHM) is an Arizona-based third-party hotel management company delivering full-service operational leadership to hotel owners across major brand families, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Choice. We operate hotels on behalf of owners who want institutional-caliber management without the overhead of building an in-house operating platform.

What We Do

AHM provides end-to-end hotel management services: daily operations, revenue management, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, human resources, engineering and capital project oversight, and brand compliance. Our model is built on owner alignment—we measure our success by the financial performance of the assets we manage, not by management fees alone.

Business Model

We earn management fees tied to hotel revenue and performance incentives tied to owner returns. Our cost structure is designed to scale efficiently as we add properties, with centralized above-property support in accounting, revenue management, sales, HR, and engineering.

Our customers are hotel owners and investor groups—individual owners, ownership partnerships, and institutional capital seeking a management partner who can deliver branded-hotel performance with disciplined financial reporting and transparent communication. We work across select-service, full-service, and extended-stay brand segments.

Leadership Team

AHM is led by a team with more than 200 years of combined hospitality leadership experience across Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, and Choice brand families:

  • Bryan Tubaugh, CEO and Founder — 20+ years in Hospitality, background in director of sales and marketing roles and Westin/Marriott brand operations.
  • Helinda Lizarraga, President and Founder — 40+ years of hotel leadership with deep Hilton, Marriott, and Choice brand experience; former President of Focus Hospitality.
  • Deborah Lahti, CMO and Partner — 25+ years in hospitality sales and marketing, with a Starwood background and corporate director of sales experience.
  • Sally Hines, CFO — 40+ years in hotel finance; expert in M3, ProfitSword, ExponentHR, and Paycor; past president of HFTP.
  • Rich Gonzalez, VP of Operations — General manager and director of revenue management background; led Starwood-to-Marriott migration and regional revenue management.
  • Steven Reed, VP of Operations — Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) with 18+ years of GM and operations experience.

Our team holds industry credentials including CHA, SPHR, and HFTP leadership recognition. We are approved or in-process with major brand families and bring direct, hands-on experience operating hotels under Marriott, Hilton, and Choice flags. Our platform combines the senior brand expertise typically found at large management companies with the responsiveness, transparency, and owner-aligned mindset of a focused, founder-led operator.
